My Wine Bio

Name:
Benjamin Llewelyn

Gender:
Male

Occupation:
Wine Merchant and panalist

Wine epiphany:
Cheval Blanc with a dash of water when I was 4. My Grandfathers's company owned the Chateau at the time

Memorable wine experience:
Sitting with Angelo Gaja over breakfast chewing the fat.He broke the orange juicer and blamed me.

Funniest wine experience:
Drinking what i thought was Bollinger when in fact it was Cava

Death-bed Wine:
A methuselah of Mouton 45. I suspect there aren't many.

Biggest wine disappointment:
The Bollinger that I tasted before I realised it was cava!

Wine hero:
today it's Ludovic Bonnelle of Domaine du Pech-making great wine in the face of adversity and crummy AC laws!
